Eugh I haven't posted in ages, soz!
I had an extremely drunken halloween and took two days to recover... D: Anyway here are the remaining illustrations for the Scaremongrel horror anthology from The Pigeonhole.

SCAREMONGREL
I was recently asked to create a banner illustration for The Pigeonhole's horror anthology, 'Scaremongrel' which is now up on the site. It was a really amazing commission to work on as I love drawing anything with an unusual theme. I had the idea of the figure escaping from the wolf, like a nightmare.
I'll also be illustrating each individual story in the anthology with separate illustrations, so watch this space...

OUIJA + WEDDING FUN
I've ordered these tshirts and totes to sell at this year's UK Twin Peaks Festival, featuring my new ouija board inspired design. Can't wait to see them... although I might have to keep one for myself ;)
In other news I had a busy and mega fun weekend at my friend's festival themed wedding back home, now I'm back and trying to get over the hangover..!

SNAZZY
I've been experimenting with some new photography for my Etsy shop and have some shiny new product shots! I'm no expert at all but I really wanted something I'd done myself, so collected some appropriate woodland bits for Twin Peaks items and used one of my lippies for Enid...!
Today has been really good, I had an early meeting about a book project which has been bubbling away, which is now confirmed and contracts are signed! I'm really excited to get started and can't wait for the book to get printed (which will be in 2016) I also got an email out the blue for another amazing-sounding project which I'll be working on this month.
Also my weekend away with old cinema pals was amazingly fun and drunken; so needed!

RECOUP
I've been out of London a lot over the past few weeks, going home to visit family and friends, helping in a friend's photography studio and heading back to Cambridge at the weekend to catch up with Uni friends which was beyond lovely. I do miss Cambridge and it's slow and paced way of life sometimes... Next weekend I'm meeting up with friends from my old cinema job for a weekend away in a cottage on the east coast, which I'm massively looking forward to.
Illustration work has been a bit slow over the past month or so, but I felt like I wanted to have a bit of time away and work on some new projects. I have an idea of a direction I want my work to go in; not that I want to change as such but just to experiment and push myself further. I'm working on a design for a friend's tshirt company this week and then I'll be releasing a couple of new print series over the next month or so.
2015 really hasn't been my year at all really, from a long term relationship breakup to money worries, to family illness but I'm trying not to let it conquer me. It's also slightly terrifying that I'm only 3 years away from being in my thirties and I have so much I thought I should have achieved by then D: Although I'm try not to be too hard on myself as I've only been freelancing less than two years and I know these things take time. I don't have wrinkles yet at least.

I'M NOT DEAD
Sorry I've been a bit absent.. just the usual, working and trying to get work and watching too much Judge Judy D:
Although I've had a couple of nice shout outs today, Sherilynn Fenn (a.k.a. Audrey bloody Horne!!) retweeted my illustration!
Also I'm going to be a featured designer on TeePublic for a week on Thursday, so please do check out my page and purchase a tee or two..?!
